2010 St. Mark's Camp Information

Dear Former and Future Campers,

Summer Camp season is upon us again. St. Mark’s Summer Camp (Sheffield Village OH) is accepting applications for campers and junior counselors. Information, pictures, camp applications and health forms can be downloaded from SaintSavaChurch.org. Applications need to be turned in to Mrs. Vera Matic by June 25^th, 2010. Late applications are subject to a $20 late fee. If you are unable to turn in a completed form by the above date, please email Vera Matic to reserve a spot. All forms MUST have a priest signature when turned in. The health form can be turned in at time of registration. The entire camp application must include the camper application form, health form, and consent form.

The camp schedule for 2010 is as follows:

Week 1, July 11 – July 17 Soccer Camp!
Head Counselor: Milos Markovic
Coach: Nikola Ristic, former Cleveland Crunch player!

Week 2, July 18 – July 24
Head Counselor: Milos Markovic
Field Trip: Kalahari Waterpark

Week 3, July 25– July 31
Head Counselor: to be determined
Field Trip: Cedar Point
Additional field trips to Lake Erie Beach, local pool and bowling are planned.

Camp season ends with the celebration of the Eastern Region Slava, Sveta Mati Angelina which will be celebrated on Saturday july 31st^th with a folklore festival and liturgy with banquet following on Sunday August 1^th.

2010 Camp Fees $160 per camper for first child, $10 discount for each additional child in same family.

For example, $160 first child, $150 second child, $140 third child, so on.

Any parents or grandparents willing and able to come and help out at camp are more than welcome! Anyone over the age to 16 and interested in being a junior counselor may complete a counselor application form and forward to Mrs. Vera Matic.

Fundraiser for Nataša Cicović

Natasa Cicović was born on 2/9/2000 with parents living in Vrhprači at Pala. Natasa is currently at the Institute for

Mother and Child in Belgrade, Serbia. Natasa (Dragomir) Cicović urgently needs funds for bone marrow

transplantation. Natasa is currently located in Banja Luka (BiH) receiving therapy, after being transferred from

Belgrade (SRB). Since Natasa has no bone marrow donor, the operation will be done abroad and it will cost about

100,000 Euros.

In the name of little Natasa Cicovic we will hold a dinner and dance on Friday May 21, 2010 at Saint Sava Serbian Orthodox

Church on Wallings Road.
